Block 'n' Roll is a conceptual brand identity for a lino print festival in Manchester, translating the raw, tactile energy of printmaking into a bold digital visual system. Inspired by the colours of Circle Square, the design uses saturated neons, halftone textures, and warping stripes that echo the physical process of ink meeting block. The identity spans posters, tickets, wayfinding, and animated typography, all unified by a deliberately disruptive, layered aesthetic. The project explores how a traditional craft can feel fearlessly contemporary when given a visual language as experimental as the art form itself.
